Table

Table Menu

Icon:

To insert or modify a table or cell, select the 'Table Functions' icon to display a list of available Table Functions.

If a Table Function is NOT available, you will need to select, or place your cursor inside the table you wish to modify.

Insert Table

Icon:

To insert a table, select the desired location, and then click the 'Insert Table' icon.

A new window will pop-up with the following fields: Rows - number of rows in table; Columns - number of columns in table; Width - width of table; background color - background color of table; Cell Padding - padding around cells; Cell Spacing - spacing between cells and Border - border around cells.

Fill in table details then click the 'OK' button to insert table, or click 'Cancel' to go back to the editor.

Modify Table Properties

Icon:

To modify table properties, select a table or click anywhere inside the table to modify, then click the 'Table Properties' icon.

A pop-up window will appear with the table's properties. Click the 'OK' button to save your changes, or click 'Cancel' to go back to the editor.

Note: this function will not work if a table has not been selected.

Modify Cell Properties

Icon:

To modify cell properties, click inside the cell to modify, and then click the 'Cell Properties' icon.

A pop-up window will appear with the cells' properties.

Click the 'OK' button to save your changes, or click 'Cancel' to go back to the editor.

Note: this function will not work if a cell has not been selected and does not work across multiple cells.

Split Cell

Icon:

Click the cell's inside you want to split, then click "Split Cell" icon, a pop-up dialog box for splitting cell will appear.

In the dialog box, you can make options of splitting row or column. You can also set the number of rows or columns to split.

Click the 'OK' button to save your changes, or click 'Cancel' to go back to the editor.

Modify Row Properties

Icon:

To modify row properties, click inside cell which is in the row to be modified, and then click the 'Row Properties' icon.

A pop-up window will appear with the row's properties.

Click the 'OK' button to save your changes, or click 'Cancel' to go back to the editor.

Note: this function will not work if a cell has not been selected.

Insert Row Above

Icon:

To insert row above, click inside cell above which to insert a row, then click the 'Insert Row Above' icon.

Each consecutive click will insert another row above the selected cell.

Note: this function will not work if a cell has not been selected.

Insert Row Below

Icon:

To insert row below, click inside cell below which to insert a row, then click the 'Insert Row Below' icon.

Each consecutive click will insert another row below the selected cell.

Note: this function will not work if a cell has not been selected.

Merge Row Below

Icon:

Merge the current cell with the one below it.

Click the cell's inside you want to merge, and then click the 'Merge Row Below' icon. This function is to merge the selected cell and the one below it into one sole cell.

Note: this function will not work if a cell has not been selected.

Split Row

Icon:

Split a cell to two rows.

To split row, click the cell's inside to split, and then click the "Split Row" icon. This function is to split a cell into two rows.

Note: this function will not work if a cell has not been selected.

Delete Row

Icon:

To delete a row, click inside cell which is in the row to be deleted, and then click the 'Delete Row' icon.

Note: this function will not work if a cell has not been selected.

Insert Column Left

Icon:

To insert column to the left of your cursor, click inside cell before which to insert a column, and then click the 'Insert Column to the Left' icon.

Each consecutive click will insert another column before the selected cell.

Note: this function will not work if a cell has not been selected.

Insert Column Right

Icon:

To insert a column to the right of your cursor, click inside cell after which to insert a column, and then click the 'Insert Column to the Right' icon.

Each consecutive click will insert another column after the selected cell.

Note: this function will not work if a cell has not been selected.

Merge Column Right

Icon:

Merge the current cell with the one to its right.

Click the cell's inside to merge, and then click the "Merge Column Right" icon. This function is to merge the selected cell and the one to its right into one sole cell.

Note: this function will not work if a cell has not been selected.

Split Column

Icon:

To split column, click the cell's inside to split, then click "Split Column" icon. This function is to split one cell into two columns.

Note: this function will not work if a cell has not been selected.

Delete Column

Icon:

To delete a column, click inside cell which is in the column to be deleted, and then click the 'Delete Column' icon.

Note: this function will not work if a cell has not been selected.
