Functional Buttons Collections

The eWebEditor control supports a variety of commands that can be used for editing the contents of the current document. These include commands to format the text; cut and paste; manage tables; links and images; and more. The eWebEditor toolbar is displayed on top of the control. The toolbar provides quick mouse access to all commands used in eWebEditor editor.

Toolbar of eWebEditor has over 100 functional buttons.

Note: If an option below is not visible or accessible in your editor, then your administrator may have disabled it.

The list below arranges the commands into groups according to their major function.

	Edit Menu	Menu for editing relative list of functional buttons
	Undo (Ctrl + Z)	Undo the last operation in the editor.
	Redo (Ctrl + Y)	Redo the last operation in the editor.
	Cut (Ctrl + X)	Copies the current selection to the clipboard and then deletes it.
	Copy (Ctrl + C)	Copies the current selection to the clipboard.
	Paste (Ctrl + V)	Insert content from the clipboard into the editor at the selected position.
	Paste as plain text	Paste the plain text (no formatting) into the editor.
	Paste from Word	Paste the content copied form the Microsoft word and remove the web-unfriendly tags
	Delete	Deletes the current selection.
	Remove Format	Removes the formatting tags from the current selection.
	Select All	Selects the entire document.
	Unselect	Clears the current selection.
	Find/Replace	Find and replace the text in the editor's content area
	Font Menu	Menu for relative list of functional buttons of fonts
	Bold	Toggles the current selection between bold and nonbold.
	Italic	Toggles the current selection between italic and nonitalic.
	Underline	Toggles the current selection between underlined and not underlined.
	Strikethrough	strike through the selected text
	Superscript	Change the selected text to superscript.
	Subscript	Change the selected text to subscript.
	Text Color	change color of the selected text
	Text Highlight	highlight the selected text
	Increase font size	increase the font size of selected text
	Decrease font size	decrease the font size of selected text
	Paragraph Menu	Menu for relative list of functional buttons of paragraph
	Left Justify	Left-justifies the format block in which the current selection is located.
	Center Justify	Centers the format block in which the current selection is located.
	Right Justify	Right-justifies the format block in which the current selection is located.
	Fully Justify	Justify Full
	Numbered List	Toggles the text selection between an ordered list and a normal format block.
	Bullet List	Toggles the text selection between an unordered list and a normal format block.
	Indent	Increases the indent of the selected text by one indentation increment.
	Outdent	Decreases by one increment the indentation of the format block in which the current selection is located.
	Break	Insert the line break.
	Insert Paragraph	Overwrites a line break on the text selection.
	Paragraph Attribute	Set the attributes of previous selected paragraph

	Insert/Modify Image	Insert an image at the selected position in the editor and let you set its properties. Supports upload images and create thumbnail images.
	Insert Flash	Insert a flash animation at the selected position and let you set its properties.
	Insert Media	Insert a windows media object at the selected position and let you set its properties.
	Insert Other File	Insert a link to a document on the server (PDF,DOC, ZIP,etc.) at the selected position
	Upload External File	Upload all chaining resource files of non-local server in editing contents to local server
	Insert/Modify Fieldset	Insert/Modify fieldset
	Insert/Modify Iframe	Insert/Modify iframe
	Insert Horizontal Rule	Overwrites a horizontal line on the text selection.
	Insert/Modify Marquee	Insert/Modify Marquee
	Insert/Modify Link	Inserts a hyperlink on the current selection, or displays a dialog box enabling the user to specify a URL to insert as a hyperlink on the current selection.
	Remove Link	Remove the hyperlink from the selected content.
	Image Hot Link	Create or edit hot links of editing images
	Anchor	Add an anchor to the text on your page.
	Object Menu	Menu for relative list of functional buttons of object
	Background Color	Background color of the object in current selected area
	Background Image	Background image of the object in current selected area
	Absolutely Position	Fly text, pictures, tables... any element anywhere you want.
	Move backwards	Send an item one position back at a time.
	Bring forwards	Bring an item one position forward at a time.
	Show Borders	Toggle between displaying table and form guidelines and not showing any guidelines at all.
	Quote Style	Add quoted effect to current selected area
	Code Style	Add code effect to current selected area

	Insert Special Characters	Insert a special character from a predefined list.
	Insert Excel	Insert a blank EXCEL table
	Insert Smiley	Insert an emotion image at the selected position in the editor.

	Insert today's date	Insert the current date. The date format used is the date format configured on the client's machine.
	Insert the current time	Insert the current time. The time format used is the time format configured on the client's machine.

	Plus Size	Increase the size of editing area
	Minus Size	Decrease the size of editing area
