Color

Color Dialog Box

The above color dialog box will appear when you click three icons of "Text Color", "Text Highlight" and "Background Color".

You can directly input the desirous color code into blank "Code" box, or by clicking the color in color map.

Text Color

Icon:

To change the color of text, select the desired portion of text and click the 'Text Color' icon.

In the color dialog box, you can select a color from the color map, or specify your own color using hex values.

Text Highlight

Icon:

To change the highlighted color of text, select the desired portion of text and click the 'Text Highlight' icon.

In the color dialog box, you can select a color from the color map, or specify your own color using hex values.

Background Color

Icon:

Set the background color of the current selection's parent element. To choose the color, you can use the Color Dialog that returns the value of the color attribute and applies to the selection.

  • Scope of Effect:

    The background image can only effect on the control and object. When the selected object is text, eWebEditor will search for the first valid parent element. When the selected object is effectively allowable control, this function will be valid for this control

    The valid object elements for "Background Image" are page, TD, TR, TH and TABLE.

  • Row Operation of a Table:

    When you want to set background color of a row in table, you can select several columns in one row of a table (see the following example), then click the icon of "Background Color". Now the scope of effect of this function is the row of the table.
